i think the answer is right there in mmx's last announcement. look at the wording right at the end "...so far as it relates to Jack Hills..." in laymans terms that means someone (before the current mmx management) did something wrong BUT that does not lead to rights to Jack Hills at law.

i have a mate that is involved in a very straight forward court case where one listed company made a mistake and the other party is taking them to court. there is no doubt the mistake was made and the contract meant it defintitely was a mistake. this thing has been in the courts for 5 years and still hasn't had a hearing of the actual facts of the case yet. imagine how long it is going to take with something that is obviously grey and fuzzy like this.

CHM will fade into obscurity long before the merrits of this claim ever get ruled upon.
