BUD: Where are we? May 2018, page-77

A lot of negativity around BUD at the moment, and I can understand that given the dismal share price performance. Sentiment is driving share price is driving sentiment... with no news to break this cycle.

However, as far as I can see, the only thing that has changed apart from sentiment is the delay in aggregated data sales due to the new European data privacy regulations.

Ohm is going full steam ahead as far as I can see. The company has always been crystal clear in the lag between announcement of distribution agreements and revenue.

As a reminder, the Digicel deal was announced on 14 July 2017, and material revenue is only now expected to start rolling in, i.e. will start being reported more than one whole year later - with maybe 3 months of that thanks to Harvey, Irma, Maria and whatever other members of the cyclone family trashed the poor Caribbean last year. Installing Ohm units was probably not a priority for a while there.

For now, I'll stick to the assumption that unless the company lets us know otherwise, previous figures regarding anticipated revenue are still valid.

From the Response to ASX Aware Letter, dated 19 Feb 2018 - p.5, item No. 13:
If the company becomes aware of information that may lead it to hold a different view with respect to expected revenues from existing and new distribution, reseller and referral arrangements, it will make the appropriate announcements in accordance with its continuous disclosure obligations.

And from the latest 4C, p.4:
The Buddy sales team can report however, that momentum continues to build and all indications are that traction is building as needed to meet recent guidance.

Personally, I think that the company is very aware of its continuous disclosure obligations and has the integrity to act accordingly.
