Wow! Interesting. I haven’t heard of this phase 1 trial before.
I am guessing they are hedging their bet on CSL112 failing phase 3 (salvage promising research) or just looking to open more revenue streams like Gardasil which was initially administered to female teens and young women, and then male teens after further trials / research. If it works that would be another huge market but I certainly hope they do a better job marketing it than they did with Gardasil.
