One of my family members met a South African family through her church and the families became friendly. This was late 70s. She went shopping with the wife in a suburban mall in outer Sydney.
There happened to be a white woman with a small black baby in a pram. This Afrikaaner woman went straight over and abused her in the middle of the mall.
The woman's parting shot was "Howw kan you kiss ut?" at the top of her voice.
