I asked Cath that very question last week, and the answer was a definite no. Cath said the are chasing a location as close to the crest of the structure as possible. They can't drill right on the crest due to some gas above or something like that. They are trying to prove up as many barrels as they can with this well, so Bambo is for another day.
They have a 1 well commitment with the Drillmax and also have a +1+1 well option if needed. Apparently they are going to try to sell the second slot to another company if possible, leaving the 3 slot available to them if they need/want it for any appraisal well.
Also, they confirmed that there is no chance of flow testing the Samo 1 well if successful.
