Still don't see anything that references any specific time rule.
As far as I know wash sale is more of case where ATO establishes that one has sold the shares with intent to gain tax benefit, with no intent of ceasing to invest in an asset.
Sort of establishing a motiv as opposed to breaking specific set of circumstances.
This is just my opinion, best to speak to accountant about it.
