"Facing a deadline this Friday to put a new refinancing plan in place to reduce the $3.9 billion of debt it is carrying, Centro now has until the middle of April to carry out an orderly auction of key parts of its shopping mall portfolio" What does this actually mean? What will be liquidated ,and what will be the debt/equity after auction? Will prime properties be sold, or subprime,and how does it affect the balance sheet?
