I indicated that too many in Australian society seem to focus on the negatives, perhaps exceptions, rather than the positives as I found in another society I had lived in. I then merely asked whether does this indicate vindictiveness as opposed to forgiveness as a trait, your reaction seems to confirm that you do in fact see a link between the being negative and being vindictive.
