Great summary @thermocouple. From the information I've gathered, I'll add that these guys have experience in sports streaming in Indonesia going back to 2014, with Bimo involved in broadcasting for Indosat back in 2011; so this is not new to them. They would developed their professional network in the region, understand the complexities involved in delivery, and refined their product offering over the last few years. On the page (https://iStream.tv2u.com) they currently also have a section for individual vendors, so it's possible they are looking at a non-exclusive offering, and shopping the platform around to a number of companies. I imagine they will shift iStream to a sub domain of Ooredoo if exclusively offering it to them. This feels a bit like a mining company before results are released. It could go either way. But if this proves to be the platform Indosat choose to use for their live steaming and OTT offering, then the only way is up (cue bad 80's song - ).
