Well, maybe the level from which the share price started to fall, namely $76, was simply too high, and it overvalued the stock. (In fact, I'm sure it was overvalued at that point).

So why is it the job of Investor Relations departments to placate the concerns of investors when share prices fall from being overvalued?

I mean, they didn't provide a running commentary when the share price went stratospheric from $20 to $80 in just a few short years, so why should they be now commenting when the stock retraces some of those extraordinary gains?
