Opinion? That implies no greater foundation than what a person happens to believe.
As for me, I merely pointed out the situation as it stands, the fact that some folks do find meaning in life while others don't, perhaps illness, suffering, etc, having taken away all meaning or pleasure in life.
This is either true or false. If it is observably true, then it is not my opinion, it is the ways things are.
