''You read too much into my word usage, opinion could have meant fact or fiction.''
I based my response on the generally meaning of the word;....
Opinion;
''A view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
‘that, in my opinion, is right’
‘the area's residents share vociferous opinions about the future’ https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/opinion
...a word generally used in relation to someone who one does not happen to agree with - ie - that is your opinion. Translation; what you say is your own view, a view that I don't agree with, a view that I believe is not supported by the facts as I see them, hence, an Opinion.
''The purpose I was speaking of is the one that is not subjective.''
I can only point out that there is no apparent presence of absolute meaning in nature. There is an apparent universal drive to survive and procreate, but no absolute value assigned to moral standards or ethics.
