I work in gas mains distribution and I can say for certain that a lot of our high usage customers would not be able to operate their equipment on “bottled gas”. The primary issue is the volume and pressures required an example is a typical household is supplied with 2.75kpa gas which then drops lower to individual appliances whilst most large commercial customers will run at 100kpa or higher.
