okay, so it's not the best managed gold company on the planet, and not situated in the world's safest area, and the cost of production is not the industry's lowest, but production costs are denominated in US$, and the selling price of gold is also denominated in US$ so there is no discount due to 'commodity currency', but to be trading at such a discount to the other players in the industry is indeed a mystery.
