I would suggest it may be a small part of why you persist on this thread. Your fine scientific mind has a little friend who wants somebody to feed it a scrap of real spiritual food, some tangle insight that can be accepted by your scientific mind.
My mind was unformed at the time so I devoured science and spiritual insights in equal parts, plus I made a career out of photography and art and commercial art which is not nearly as grounded as science.
