Need to spend quite a bit of $$$$$ to get Clives plant up to scratch. I'd say the Autoclaves will need to be replaced as well as the acid circuit and tailings. These are designed to run continuously and do not like the shutdown startup processes plus the tech is old and dilapidated when Clive inherited it for $1
Not far from Townsville is Sconi project at Greenvale. There will be a new plant being build with gen 5 technology commencing in the next year. Optimising production up to ➢ 12,000 tonnes of cobalt sulphate and ➢ 60,000 tonnes of nickel sulphate per annum at full operating capacity from laterite loam.
Good ports and road access from Townsville to Greenvale.
It would be pertinent for Ryan to provide Metallurgy data using a simulated gen 5 testing with saprolite sample as Wet Tropical Lats have a long cycle at high temp and pressure in the Autoclave and Solvent Extraction circuit increasing costs due to clayish ore type. You never know your luck. But this management prefers the trough than to be proactive.....Rusty stop it!!!
