Hac - good simplification of the expected costs. but I dont get where you get 150$ for our rock (at least DOF earth) my calcs are per ton of DOF put through the plant well get a final amount -just roughly taking the metals prices today (without calculating Co sulphide premium /payability/losses etc etc) at current prices around
950$ for the cobalt 0.11% at 88,000 per tone/260$ for the copper (at 6,000 a ton x.42)and 130 $ for the zinc =
$1,340 a ton. less say 20% for loss in extraction and processing= AUD 1,100 a ton.
how do you get to 150$?? Im not saying youre wrong at all cos you seem to know this stuff better than me. I'm just curious why your calling it so low per ton when its not? what am I missing? are you taking the strip ratio into account on your average tonnage?
also to me your strip ratio at 1/15 to one seems high (especially at first) Imo I dont see us being way worse than the 2/1 example below. if our ore body is average 10 meters wide we would be at 1/10
We know; SR = Waste/Ore, therefore:SR = 2500/5000 = 1:2 (i.e. 0.5) (i.e. one unit of waste is removed to recover 2 units of ore)
lastly HAC if you had to take a guess at extraction nd processing costs what would you guess per ton? 20$?
any comments mate -you seem to have more confidence working this out than me?
