You are right about the hedging and also the selective examples of LGL and NCM
DGD (Delta Gold) RBK (Redback) and DOM etc. could also be used.
I was really just passing a comment about the depth of feeling the likes of Sinclair etc arouse.
We cannot afford to love them or hate them
Or at least try not to love or hate
It distracts us from objective thought.
There are plenty of disasters on the gold boards
PSV CRS BMA VRE TAM SGW
Maybe most of the good mines are gone
Either owned by big companies or mined out.
I don’t know what Norseman is doing now.
Too the best of my knowledge it is operating profitably for it new owners.
What ever the case if the clowns had not forward sold (or what ever it was) they could have mothballed the mine and installed new management while they sorted out their development issues.
If BDG was hedged they would no longer be with us irrespective of quality of management and or equity raisings.
NGF interested me somewhat.
The grade did not impress me greatly but when I realised they had 350,000 ounces sold forward I lost all interest.
A production hiccup and they are gone the way of CRS
I wish I knew what was going to happen
It would be so much easier.
