U only need to consider hedging if u owe money for plant. CMR has no debt it needs to repay in cash. AUD is natural hedge for metals pricing IMO so no need to hedge at all here. Plenty of emerging goldcos went bust cos of Macquarie "friendly" hedging policies. CMR are in control ... they just have to show they can produce as expected. Anyway why would u want to hedge IFF u believe in the BIG resources upwave still coming? Miners should be miners and blessed are they who dont need bankers' controlling them. MQG is suffering a bit of its own karma atm hey? Wonder what they are REALLY worth? Now THAT"S a real spec if ask me ...... but thats another story
Ark theory is a hedge against such speculation anyway. Re the baby dinosaur ... either totally mistimed OR brilliant timing by total default. Pirra? Non-event in the bigger pix tho. But keeps our skilled explorers out of retirement and working for us so that has to be good. All a bit ho-hum atm.
