Nobody held a gun to your 60 year olds head and said you must take this loan. Don't blame the banks for responsible lending which may slow the flow of money in the economy, blame the moronic Australian public who are obsessed with investing in property. Furthermore blame all levels of government which put in place plocies to pump up property prices.
Time to grow up Australia, stop blaming the banks.
