this thinking is correct.
Trump passed tax cuts, all other countries talking about tax cuts (not because it's a trend, it's because if they don;t do it, they give free capital to them...and the corresponding economy boost).
Same thing for any industry.
Economy is and has always been a global race. TO understand anywhere in the world at the moment, you need to understand what's going on in the US.
