There is a lot of talent in the federal Labor Party besides Rudd and Gillard - I bet most of the success of Sorry Day was due to the hard work of Jenny Macklin.
Since the election, the Liberal Party consists of old fogeys like Ruddock (who made children's cages for a living) and young fogeys like Abbott and Bishop who can't wait for Hortaio Nelson to fall on his sword.
The whole feel and smell of the Liberal Party circa 2008 is of a storage cupboard for old policies that badly needs disinfecting and airing.
