I just watched the video of the Mel preso. Agree with your summary. There's lots to like about the technology, the demand is obvious especially for heat versus electricity, but not obvious are the business and investment cases.

I'm no expert in this area, but generally speaking I don't see going international a problem. If the demand is there, a way will be found to go international. Assuming the business case stacks up, partnerships or licensing would be obvious routes (same sort of thing as the Aussie startup Fastbrick Robotics ASX:FBR partnering with the global giant Caterpillar, and ASX:FLC finding Chinese partners)
