Did he say RAU are in negotiations and then if they would make an offer - yes - - Was the offer rejected - yes but do you want share holders or the company to pay too much - no you do not and should not. Is the deal closed - No. Is it a possibility that Republic may still get Mt Carbine - yes. Did BHP get Rio on there first offer - No - second offer no - what about Symbion Health and Primary they have been fighting about there deal for 12 months and they are not speccies - this is normal not abnormal.
Does John let shareholders know what is happening - yes - Or would you prefer they manage it like many other companies on the asx and tell you jack. Is West Whumball a good virgin site find - yes I reckon it is. Is 500,000 oz of gold handy - yes it is. Was the last drilling results for gold OK - yes they were - could have been better but OK - is the price of Gold going up - Yes. Have Republic got international interest - yes - good or bad - I am not 100% sure but i think at this stage it is good.
Neb joining the team - good or bad - I reckon very good. Money in the bank to be able to further explore and drill to sure things up - again I think this is good.
Is it a speciie share - yes - are speccies volitile and unpredictable - generally yes. Is the overall market bloody horrendous over the last 5 or so weeks - yes - are most shares on the market being caught up in this - yes. Is Republic any different - no
And its simple - if you don't like em don't buy them - but I think that Republic do have a lot going for them and I am happy to own shares in the company and I reckon i will make money out of this investment (tell you a secret that is why I bought the shares in the first place) - if you are not and don't like em that is OK as well but may be do some research about some stocks before you post that they have nothing going for Republic. As for a speccies I reckon RAU have a fair bit on the plate
Just my humble opinion as a novice holder in Republic from Darwin - we are too far away in Darwin from the rest of Aust in Darwin to know much up here anyhow - our internet still comes in via Camels from South Australia
