Woodside and Cairn indicate Woodside’s engineering team is gradually taking the reins of what is now essentially an engineering project. Continuity is obviously preferable to avoid the delays associated with new engineers picking up what is increasingly becoming Woodside’s work. I guess the buyer of FAR’s 35 per cent could always poach the best Woodside guys!
FAR is very keen on Petronas operating Gambia. Perhaps they could take on SNE as well ... would be particularly helpful if it’s one field, as the FAR guys seem to think.

FAR sells down SNE but retains an interest.
FAR is free-carried to production of SNE.
FAR retains exploration lead in Samo until appraisal is completed, at which point ...
FAR sells down Samo to Petronas for free carry to production of its remaining interest.
