AKP is dependant on its contract manufacturing vendors.

If vendors are clever like Vlad, they can use the 15+15min trick to hide a 30min delay. If Vlad was providing services to AKP, we would have two delay announcements and still no idea whether service was delivered.

From the announcement, it would seem AKP don't just wait for a new batch of wafers. They must be getting partial samples they can test along the way. It would seem this has allowed them to provide feedback to the vendor to ensure another batch isn't stuffed up.

How many companies have developed a disruptive digital speaker? None. AKP is the only one I know of that is very close to being the first. They will have the market to themselves.
