Prepositioning ahead of index inclusion isn't nearly what it once was, Volker effectively closed this out for US brokers. There will be a few HF's who take a view based upon the likelihood of inclusion or exclusion, and they will match off with the index/passive flows who need to buy/sell an included/excluded stock. For ING, I don't see the large flows flows in the weeks ahead which might indicate any form of meaningful prepositioning. I'm hoping for a in the lead up to Friday's close and inclusion.
