Sincerely hope that you are correct. However, my thinking is that if the deal had any legs then MXC would be deluging us with updates on progress and timing. There has  been absolutely silence on the issue - that is not normal if the deal was still a goer. I've moved on from it in any case and am more interested in the MM space where I think MXC is doing incredibly well. I am convinced that it would  be a better strategy for MXC to just come out and say the VC deal is off (if it is no longer retrievable of course) - probably stop the "I don't have confidence in MXC anymore" diehards and allow shareholders to concentrate on what is important and relevant. . The VC deal is an albatross around MXC's neck as it stands.
I'm more than happy for any bunny of any colour to prove me wrong though
