I've been researching Xref quite a bit and find it very interesting to observe. The strategy seems to be growth at all costs (literally - the awesome revenue gains are more than offset by the increased costs for marketing, staff, etc). If you frame that against the performance rights granted then it makes sense because the metrics for awarding them were revenue and SP growth, not profitability. After receiving class A and B performance shares the original owners sold out 12mil worth. However Class C is the only one left now and effectively sets the next goal of 5mil EBITDA. Is it likely that Xref will continue its reckless growth approach to sales growth for the coming years (racking up more and more losses) and then tighten the belt to turn huge profits off the recurring revenue streams created???
