I don't think 'bots' are an indication of takeover. It is the reality across most stocks.
If it were to happen I still think SBM are the most likely contender. They will have $300M in the bank by now and stock pushing all time highs. Paying with shares and some cash they could easily digest DCN.
SBM are a bit more desperate for another operation as their current second mine at Simberi is a low quality asset with short reserves. SBM have publicly stated they are looking for 200koz pa producers with mine life over 10 years. The only company in this category in Australia is DCN. And Mt Morgans is less than 50km from SBM's Gwalia.
Doubtful that SBM would want to buy DCN before some production numbers start coming in though.
