This cant be confirmed yet. We still have a higher close than yesterday. Yes it would have been helpful if BHP closed about $40 but I am willing to wait tommorow after we see what happens in the US. My other view on BHP is that they wont pursue RIO, at least not in the short term.
I think they have missed that boat. There seems to be opposing views on what is fair value from both camps. Once this uncertainty is resolved I say onwards and upwards.
