i think the options issues is crucial to understanding why this stock is still below $1. No way in the world that management want to spruik it too much without protecting their position in the even of any takeover.

If you accept that UMC have likely got 80mt of dso at railway .. or even half that; and then throw in the other prospects, its as close to a no brainer as you will find ...

A major could take this over at $3 without even thinking and know they are getting a bargain to boot.

I'm heading on holidays tomorrow for ten days, when i return I'll be closing watching the Egm and expect UMC to rise significantly in the days before and after.

March will be the making of UMC ... and the old hands will be making their Broome bookings for April. Ive been on this thread since late 2006 .... auboat, bungy and others pointed the way and have been quiet of late ...
