Correcttrick is to get in early in the trend . - But more importantly T/A can get you out early in a downtrend to preserve capital.

Incorrect trading on a whimsical strategy is not trading its punting - whimsical traders dont survive. There are plenty of sound trailing stop strategies you can use to stay with the uptrend for as long as possible

Correct that applies to investors even more than traders !

Applies to investors - Traders can successfully trade 1 or 2 stocks the risk management comes from not having any more than 5% or 10% of your account at risk on any single trade
