It is still very intriguing though that Rio's find is reported (by Barry Fitzgerald and others) to be copper in granite (porphyry). Those are big granite intrusions arcing SE across the 100% owned Antipa ground.
And also, Antipa have repeatedly described this whole El Paso corridor as analogous to a porphyry copper belt.
Porphyry copper is copper in and around mineralised porphyry granite intrusions, as you probably know. And any intrusive belt will not just have them along its outer edge.
There is a lot more to be known and discovered out there in the Paterson North area, and some big surprises yet to come I am sure. Nice to have a slice of it.
