Thanks for your response on this @youmav. I agree with your thoughts here. It makes a lot of sense.
It does feel as though we are beginning to make some real progress and turn a corner. Even the announcements have a new sense of professionalism, which I like to see. I'm now interested to see how they move forward with Brazil.
The AT&T acquisition of Time Warner was massive. Control of a huge media company by a telco. It says a lot about the future of the telecommunications industry, and where the industry anticipates the greatest growth in revenue to come from. Now AT&T will control both the data and the content. It will be interesting to see how it shapes the distribution of content globally, particularly for the LATAM countries that we are targeting.
It seems that this is currently a hotly contested space we're playing in.
