increased production costs

Have just been thinking again about the subject of the increase for this year of production costs to A$625 & the fact that some posters weren't happy about it, which was no doubt also reflected by the sp drop. However, with the current price of gold at A$1025 still giving NGF $400 an ounce (& with a good prospect of this rising) I would think that if gold were still at $625 & costs were $225 everyone would regard that as an excellent result even though return would still be only $400 an ounce. It's funny how percentages change perspectives. lol!
