"with 100yrs ago
the masses are more inclined to ask and not accept all."
IMO the masses have not changed, except to become even more passive, rudderless, suggestible and easily directed through carrots and sticks of all kinds.
I regularly check what is popular for the various masses eg entertainment, Television, Youtube, "social" media and religion just to see if there has been any improvement or change of direction. Not encouraging.
The tiny minority who have always existed and genuinely question now have the means to be more widely heard should they deem that appropriate. Unfortunately they are now virtually swamped by a noisy fringe who are not interested in questioning as a means for betterment but know only how to complain and hunger for self aggrandisement.
Of course I could be wrong.
