Totally agree that strong male role models are essential for forming decent humans. I would like to think that I'm setting a good example for my son by trying to change attitudes, especially towards women. And I'm not just talking about the "nice" ones. All women, including the outspoken feminists, and women who might not be "deserving" of our respect.
It's overwhelmingly a man's world (custody statistics aside). When you're in a position of privilege it's hard to see how good you actually have it.
