You are producing some great posts regarding CNP.
Couple of points:
Equity in CNP at 30/6/2007 needs adjusting down because service business was valued on P/E of 20 times (way over the top).
Also downward adjustments in both Aust/US assets.
Rather than use CNP re earnings forecasts I have discounted them by 50% to allow for equity injection.
Your logic is basically correct & unfortunately some major player probably could score a bargain.
