I don't post often on BMN but have a small holding of the stock with a realistic (I hope) expectation of making a good return from them in the not too distant future. Whilst I tend to agree with the points you made in this thread I don't see a huge lot of shorting being done on BMN. I have been looking at the ASX list of shorts as of 20th Feb and can only see 175,599 units shorted which is 0.13%. Compared to the list of shorts for all stocks 0.13% seems a very low amount. I suppose any amount of shorting can have marked effect on what at the moment is an il-liquid stock !! I DEFINITELY agree there is more screwing around with the SP going on than at an AFL end of year wind up.
