farlap thats great that you're such a good driver still, well done. There sadly are plenty at a similar age who are not, so time to filter them out. I'm currently teaching my daughter to drive and she's just about ready to go. I agree about the defensive driver aspect, it's a very important skill to adopt. Foreseeing what others may do is half the battle.
Cognitive depreciation with age will affect this more in some than others, coupled with medication, eyesight, reaction times etc etc.
