Is it asking too much to think that other organisations might look at the "work" being done and paid for by shareholders, customers, and taxpayers?
How many staff in management are in jobs that add precisely no value? How many attend meetings when their presence is not just pointless but often a negative?
Yes, I know its always been the case . But it seems to me that in recent years many senior managers are even more intent on building up their workforce empire than in doing productive work. And of course its essential, isnt it, that 'their' people are paid top salaries (otherwise it implies that the senior man isnt worth his top top salary).
