It is, in that it stores energy from renewable sources (wind, solar) for use when the wind ain't blowing and the sun isn't shining on an industrial scale as opposed to domestic, cheaper and smaller than whatever Tesla can do. Any renewable energy supplier would welcome Tess with open arms.
