I think people tend to forget that if property market does materially deteriorate it will mean it takes longer to sell a property and that you need to be marketed the best compared to other properties to be the eyeballs and therefore get your sale.
What that means is property's will be listed on realestate.com and domain for longer periods of time which means more $$. What it also means that if you want to standard out you need to pay up to get premium etc and to be displayed prominently on the website.
I think REA will benefit if the property market continues to stagnate.
Obviously short term stock price movements could go either direction but as I said a long time ago on Hotcopper this is getting $100 eventually and we are almost there.
Great business that is essential in today's property selling market and until something else comes along to change the dynamics it will continue to grow revenue strongly and expand.
