That article you posted suggests to me that even though Nuclear Fuel Ukraine is not yet set up, the government is still pressing ahead with uranium matters.
The only obstacle preventing Uran from commencing the FS is the non-establishement of Nuclear Fuel Ukraine...in other words, their joint venture partner. Assuming the government had not created Ukratomprom (no longer exists) and left Vostgok to remain as is, Uran would have been producing by now.
The market has really got the whole Uran story completely wrong. The market is of the view that Uran is still trying to negotiate with the governmentto acquire projects in Ukraine. This is not the case at all. Uran completed their negotiations back in December 2006. The only thing that needs to be sorted out at the moment is the red tape -which has been the case for the past 16 months.
Hopefully all will finally be resolved this week...and Uran can get on with the job of extracting uranium.
