They aren't nuts.
They put in whatever it was , $115 million or so and are taking out, at latest guess, $250 million or so.
When the going got a little tough - out they went. Yes, they could have ended up making a motza as large shareholders in MBN if MBN remained listed and the NP turned around, but probably thought - "Hey, the NP could stay sub $4 for years and years and years* - and then we would lose all of our money. Better we take out double our money and let the hard working retail investors lose all of their money! We care nothing about them!
*Yeh, sure it will. NOT!
