From time to time, I have visited certain " aged homes " here in Perth, mostly the staff, are young Asians , from India and the Indo Chinese. a gross over simplification but there ya go.
What lovely people ,respectful , courteous, and understanding, and young but professional.
I wont mention the first " aged home" I went to in Perth.
I met a man in tears , clearly still in love with his wife, who ,even though he was bathing and changing her, she was oblivious to who he was.
What could I say to such a real man, as he tried to make some sense of his situation ?
I remember it like yesterday, all I could say was, " your a better man than I will ever be."
Unless we adopt the Logans run theme, dead at thirty, this is what we are left with.
