fantastic analysis razzledazzle. i also think one cannot discount the probability of SDL as a strategic acquisition for any number of players, not least of which in terms of vertical and horizontal integration. i also would remind everyone about Pallinghurst/Brian Gilbertson attempt at ConsMin as well as ArcelorMittal steel makers. They are increasingly looking to secure their resource supply and aim to have upwards of 25% internal supply covered within a sufficient period of time. of course, cameroon is strategically better located to the steel mills of europe, again reinforcing the attraction to ArcelorMittal and/or Pallinghurst (but for different reasons).
