Here is another one from 2016 for GOR's Gruyere deposit, the largest gold mine development of recent times: They did end up selling 50% for $350mill to Goldfields to help finance it.
NPV (8%) pre-tax = $486mill 24% IRR
NPV (8%) post tax = $305mill 20% IRR
CapEx = $507mill
Payback = 4 years (33% LOM)
LOM = 13 years
