Good to hear that you've managed to get in contact. Even better that Ben actually contacted you, given your efforts over the last couple of months.

Yesterday I said that 'overall no one quite knew what to think' re. the announcement. It appears that it continues to be the case, more than a day since it was made.

I can't believe no one (other than myself and Lemas, plus Dma who posted the announcement link) has posted anything about it. We've all been waiting months for this, and finally it arrives ... not quite what we were expecting mind you ... but still.

(I wonder if Jukes is going to do another witty poem on the subject of me requesting feedback, like the last time?!).

I'd imagine some of you are still trying to come to grips with what it is and what it means. Many if not all are probably disappointed, and not necessarily want to explore that in print. However, as I and Lemas have been pointing out, at least it shows that the company is still on track, just not on the timeline that had been predicted and hoped for.

I'd be curious to hear everyone else's take on the announcement.
